It’s almost that time.
The last Friday I have at work before running a marathon. The last weekend having a long run. The last Friday morning of making pancakes before work!
I have an 8 mile run on the schedule as my last Saturday “long” run, but I think I’m going to make it 10 miles instead since last weekend we were at homecoming and I didn’t really get a longer one in.
Getting so excited!!!
I’ve got some things to get done to make sure everything is in order. I can’t believe it’s already almost time. Wow 🙂

So exciting! I still have a little over a month til mine, but I am seeing marathon ads on the buses and subways in NYC now, so you know it’s getting close!!! Good luck on your long run this weekend- I’ve got 18 to do 🙂

EEEEEE!!! Sarah and I have a scheduled pancake date tomorrow morning and I’m PUMPED!!! Thinking I’m going to do 12 tomorrow but only because I’ve had to decrease the miles these past 3 weeks because of the ole hip. Also, a lady at work is making homemade granola bars for us to take and they are DELISH. All organic, local, natural ingredients and sweetened only with honey and some dried fruit. I had one last week and was in love- steel cut oats, dried cranberries, apricots, dates, sunflower seeds, walnuts, honey and a sprinkle of coconut. You will love them…and so will our marathon dominating bodies 🙂

The last week before a big longer race is always the most exciting! My half is next Sunday so I did my last long run this morning! So anxious to race!

That’s really cool Bess, I’m excited for you:) Is your diet going to change after the marathon?
My fiance and I are considering doing a half marathong next year! I think it will be a fun challenge for us.

It’s crazy that it is your last run! It has been to cool to see you progress through marathon training and I seriously cannot wait to see how the marathon goes! Isn’t it funny how invested we get when reading people’s blogs? Good luck on the run!

I cannot stop eating pancakes for breakfast!!! I’ve been a PB2 lover for a while but never tried it in pancakes until last week and oh em gee 😛
