It’s that time again. FRIDAY!!
I was up early to get a workout in at the gym at I got there promptly at 6am. I did another elliptical workout because tomorrow I will be doing a longer-ish training run, probably around 7 miles, so I didn’t want to kill my legs too bad! Instead, I decided to complete quite the booty-blasting elliptical routine. I used this on a machine where you can change both the incline and resistance, but a lot of gyms only have the kind where you can change the resistance, but that would still be a good workout!
The workout was basically in the pattern of 3 minutes, 2 minutes, 1 minute, with resistances at progressively harder levels from 8, 10, 12 to make one set. Each set was done at inclines of 12, 14, 16, 18, and 20! I did it all times 2 for an hour long super-sweaty workout. Then later, my breakfast had a fun new addition to it. Same protein overnight oats as usual, but topped with some sliced almonds today. I’m a wild one!
The almonds provided a delicious crunch factor!
