This weekend I got to head up north to see Mike 🙂 My mom and grandma were already driving up to Annapolis, MD to watch the Duke-Navy football game with some of our other family members, so I drove up halfway with them and then Mike picked me up and we drove the rest of the way back to NJ. He’s such a sweetie pie!
My grandma (aka Baba) has a maltipoo and she drove with us…look at her cute little car seat!
The weather in New Jersey was beautiful and perfect for fall.
Mike coaches a little league team that played (and won!) the championship game on Saturday morning…so we got up and grabbed some breakfast to go before heading over there. I had a pumpkin bagel with pumpkin cream cheese. It was beyond good…I scarfed it down pretty quick! I also had an unpictured parfait with some granola.
Mike and his step-brother after winning!!!
After, we picked up yet more food to go and headed to Mike’s brother, AJ’s football game. It was his senior day and they beat a really good team in double overtime! Such an exciting game. We grabbed some food from Muscle Maker grill…I got the signature chicken sandwich (its not fried even though it looks like it..its just the sauce) and some brown rice.
It was so yummy.
We had to wake up early Sunday morning to drive me back but it was a good short weekend at least 🙂 My tooth chipped in the process of eating the brown rice (it had to have been cracked already…there is no way the soft brown rice broke it!) so I pretty much just ate oatmeal or yogurt yesterday. Wasn’t horrible!
My dinner looked like a breakfast:
Some really liquidy oats and some melted pb and sf maple syrup.
Then, I posted up on the front porch to hand out candy to the trick or treaters. With my computer, of course! Gotta stay busy!
I later put on a light-up witches hat but it didn’t get photographed.
This morning was more oatmeal…and a Giants win! One more and then they will be CHAMPS!
I’m going to get my tooth fixed shortly…so hooray for that!
And also, congrats to Julie from Peanut Butter Fingers on her wedding!!
Happy NOVEMBER!!! (I’m already thinking about Christmas decorations….)
