Never too early.

Hey Hey!  How is everyone’s Monday?! Is that a dumb question? Does everyone hate Mondays?  I feel like right now all the days seem the same to me because I’m working 6 days a week so really I just like Sunday right now 🙂

Look at my yummy snacks I took to work today…so much fruit I couldn’t even eat it all, seriously.  Don’t think I’m a wimp when I say that…because those grapes are bigger than my face.

Not one, but TWO Chobani’s…

Lunch was a roast beef sandwich with a little light mayo on an Arnold’s sandwich thin

Then this afternoon I took Maverick on a nice 4 mile walk and then I did 4 more on the treadmill while I watched some TV.  This week I’m just focusing on staying loose and getting a good stretch in after walking and running…won’t be doing too much running this week, just some shorter mileage runs in preparation for the half on Sunday.

For dinner I figured its never too early to start carboloading…so I had some whole wheat pasta with chicken, broccoli, and sundried tomato sauce with some parmesan cheese.

And of course, dessert…more carbs aka sugarrrr.

I think I am addicted to cookies after dinner.  Oh well!

Who is excited for the Bachelor Finale?!?! Like I’ve said before…I really like Emily the best but I just don’t think Brad is going to pick her.  And I think she is too good for Brad!  And I also heard that Ashley is going to be the next Bachelorette…I am not sure if thats true or not, just what I heard.  Hopefully that’s not some sort of spoiler.  In my defense, it might not be true, I really have no idea.  I was hoping that if Emily didn’t win she’d be the next Bachelorette…but maybe not if its Ashley!

Do you like to eat dessert immediately after you are done with dinner or do you like to let your dinner settle before the sweets? No matter how full I am I want to eat dessert ASAP.  I am convinced its a different part of your stomach so therefore I always have room for dessert! 🙂




I like food.

Perhaps you heard that yesterday was national cereal day.  This could have been very detrimental but luckily for me I had only 2 servings of Honey Bunches of Oats left in the box and it was the only cereal I would have been wanting to eat to celebrate the day.

So for a late lunch/snack I had a big bowl of cereal.

Then I spent about an hour and a half or so on the treadmill just mixing up walking, jogging, running, sprinting, hills, no hills, some hills, etc.  You get the idea.  Total of about 7.5 miles.  That is sort of what my workouts over the past few days have been….all while watching Bravo on the treadmill.

For dinner I had a turkey sandwich and a Smart Ones lasagna.

I think the WW food happens to be really good…and I had some of it for dessert too…

That would be a satisfying healthy alternative for a strawberry shortcake and a brownie that still tastes good!

This morning I changed up breakfast and had peanut butter, greek yogurt, and honey on whole wheat bread.

I really like this combo…it is yummy 🙂

Packed some snacks for the day as well…

Apple, cheese stick, some turkey, and 3 hard boiled eggs (I will only eat the whites, not a fan of the yolks hard boiled)

And lastly here is What I Wore to work…

Clearly there was no hair-doing this morning…ponytail time.

Do you like to eat frozen pre-made meals? Obviously yes, I do.  I think there are worse things I could eat because for the most part they are decently healthy enough and when I don’t feel like cooking I think they are an okay option!  I don’t do it all the time but quite often I do and its fine with me!

What is your favorite way to eat an egg? I like pretty much all the different ways just depending on the day…when I was younger I thought scrambled was the only way you were supposed to eat an egg but now I like them all different kinds of ways!
