Sorry I was a slacker yesterday…I could very well have written a post last night but I was almost too tired to eat dinner. *Almost*
Also, when I am that tired all I want is carbs, so to make sure I got my protein in I had protein oats for dinner! I used to eat oatmeal for dinner all the time in college and actually haven’t had it for dinner in forever so it was great. I didn’t take a picture of it because you know what oatmeal looks like and if you don’t you can read back through my old posts because I have about 8934752935 different pictures of it. 🙂
Lunch was amazing because I got a 5 dolla footlong from Subway. My Jersey Mike’s franchise owning friends probably wouldn’t be too happy with this…but to that I say please open a store closer to my house, thanks! I’ll help you run it if you want because I always see your coupons for Jersey Mike’s and it makes me sad I can’t eat it because I live in the boonies.
I had a chicken sub on honey oat bread with provolone cheese, light mayo, honey mustard, green peppers, pickles, cucumbers, black olives, banana peppers, and salt & pepper. I usually get spinach on it but I gotta be honest…the spinach was not looking too fresh yesterday. However, the ingredients that I did get on the sandwich were fantastic and delicious.
Just looking at that picture makes me want that for lunch again today…..
Anyways, I had the world’s most boring yet undeniably delicious breakfast (again): cereal. Yes, I am falling back into my addiction. It also doesn’t help that I am so lazy in the mornings that cooking oats on the stove for 5 minutes seems like too much work…I decided to not take a picture of that either because you’ve seen it plenty of times!
Here is What I Wore to work today:
I have to say that I really like wearing jackets with no hoods and having something on underneath it that does have a hood that you pull out over the top jacket…random. But its just a note about how I like to wear certain stuff! Besides, not pulling the hood out makes you look like you have a hunchback and that is no good.
Packed for a snack today I have some greek yogurt with dates and almonds and a banana
And lunch is sadly not going to be a 5 dolla footlong because I don’t need to buy my lunch 2 days in a row! I try to save money for the most part! Lunch will be leftovers from the fridge thrown in a tupperware.
Roasted sweet potatoes, 2 hardboiled eggs, and some chicken breast.
That’s all I’ve got for now…I’m thinking I’m going to go ahead an let people start entering for the Valentine’s Day Giveaway even though I don’t have all the stuff yet…I want to be able to ship it by then (or at least as close as possible!)
I can tell you it will consist of some V-day candies and other festive goodies!! I will put up a picture once I get the stuff but I haven’t purchased yet!!
