A Look in the Swag Bag

Alright so as you know, I came away with lots of pretty awesome stuff from both FitBlogNYC and the Tone It Up meet-up.

FitBlogNYC had some really amazing sponsors.  Reebok, Birkenstock, Oakley, Camelbak, Go With the Grain, Pure Protein, Sun-Maid, V8 Fusion Smoothie, Vichy, Schick, and KiwiSweat.  The swag bag itself is Sonia Kashuk.

Fitness Magazine partnered with NMS (New Media Strategies) for the event I thought everyone did a great job because the place looked fantastic and the event was awesome.

When I got home last night I was exhausted but clearly couldn’t go to sleep without rummaging through all my goodies!  I took a lot of iPhone pics of the goods that I’ll share.  Some things, like these crackers, didn’t even make it home because I ate them immediately.

NMS gave everyone new yoga mats and carrier bags which is awesome because I’ve been needing a bag!  Also, Reebok gave everyone a new pair of shoes and I was so excited about them.  Unfortunately when I got home, I realized that I had been given a size 11…when I had requested a size 9.  Two sizes bigger than my feet=they don’t fit even a little bit.  Bummed because they look super sweet and comfy and I would’ve loved to have them 😦

Oakley gave everyone free sunglasses and I’m SUPER PUMPED because I’ve been wanting and needing a pair of running sunglasses for a while.  These rule because not only are they functional running sunglasses, but they look fab enough to wear when I’m not running!  I got the Oakley Overtime sunglasses and I’m obsessed already.

Also got these cute wristbands that I’m wearing right now:

And this hint water that I’m drinking right now…

Lots of food:

As well as a huge bag of Sun-Maid raisins, Pure Protein drinks and bars, Sheets energy strips, V8 Fusion Smoothie Straws, Camelbak Water Bottles, Oakley notebook, a signed ball by Mia Hamm, Jewelry from Dogeared, a pair of Birkenstock sandals, giftcards to places like YogaWorks and Pure Barre, a yoga DVD, this book by A.J. Jacobs:

The best smelling soap I’ve ever experienced from Hand in Hand:

A new razor:

And these amazing beauty products:

Under make-up primer by Laura Geller which I’m wearing right now and LOVING:

Blowpro Faux Dry Shampoo which I’m sure I will run out of very quickly 😉 :

And this Vichy Destock Stomach tummy tightening serum:

There were also a couple of SweatyBands in the bag!  We also were given the newest issue of Fitness Magazine:

I think there are even a few things I’m forgetting so if so, I will mention them later on!

Later, at the Oakley/Tone It Up/SELF Magazine meet-up, the first 50 people to arrive received gift bags.  In those cute pink bags were a $10 gift card to Oakley, an Oakley towel (that is perfect for hot yoga), an issue of SELF Magazine, a sample pack of Tone It Up’s protein powder, the Beach Babe DVD series, an Oakley water bottle, and maybe some other stuff too but that’s all I can remember off the top of my head.  It was swag overload and it ruled.

Thanks again so so much to ALL the sponsors and people who made yesterday possible.  I feel really super lucky to have gotten to go and have such an amazing experience.  I am truly grateful!

Oh and PS…besides all the fantastic materialistic goodies, I am most happy about the group of people I got to meet, interact, and spend my day with from the beginning to the end 🙂
